Welcome to the 2014 Show!

East meets West at this year’s East Coast Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show. Nine dedicated mineral collectors from California have cooperated to provide some of the finest specimens from their personal collections for your viewing pleasure. Displays here include Gold, California’s state mineral, and Benitoite, California’s 

state gemstone. Many of the wonderful minerals found in California occur as gem crystals: Tourmaline, kunzite, garnet, topaz, aquamarine, and more. Other displays feature colorful worldwide specimens sized from thumbnails to large cabinet specimens. One collector even produces a line of mineral-themed wines, complete with artistic mineral labels created by Massachusetts artist Fred Wilda.

We hope you will take the time to explore and enjoy the hundreds of fine mineral specimens that have traveled across the US to appear in your own “back yard.” The East Coast Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show has achieved a position as one of the most important natural history events in the eastern U.S. We thank our visitors, dealers and exhibitors for their special interest and dedicated efforts that have enabled us to reach this status. Tucson's Fall Season...Stock up for the Holidays

Did you know that there is a Fall Season in Tucson?  ...no I am not talking about the leaves turning - cactus doesn't have many leaves and the sage is pretty much the same color all year long!

What I am referring to is the Tucson Gem Show - the Fall version!

While this groups of shows is no where near the size of the Spring Shows (which some see as a benefit), it does the trick!  For locals and people in the Southwest area this is the perfect option for restocking needs just prior to the busy Holiday Season.  

So if you have run out of a favorite bead or need more Chrysoprase Cabs (you know that Green is an important color for Spring & Summer 2013 - right?) this is your opportunity to shop three (3) of the larger shows from Spring!

Your selection includes the popular Holidome Show presented by G&LW  - the giant JOGS Show at the ExpoCenter and the Best Bead Show at Kino Memorial Center!

Rocky Mountain Bead Bazaar

The Rocky Mountain Bead Society was founded in 1992 by Leslie Sartor as she worked to bring a group of people together with a common passion in the hopes that they would build, support and learn from each other. There were 25 people at that first meeting…today the RMBS boasts a membership of over 200 people.

The Rocky Mountain Bead Society (RMBS) was formed to:

• Advance the study of and education about beads;
• Encourage and promote public appreciation for beads and the art of beading;
• Disseminate information about beads and beading;
• Develop and administer programs concerning beads and beading;
• Establish and maintain an RMBS book collection and library; and
• Publish and preserve writings about the history of beads and beading.

The Colorado Mineral & Fossil Show is a Martin Zinn Prod. – which, in my book says it all. This show fills two Ballrooms – the Lobby – hotel rooms in both the North & South wings and still overflows into a tent outside!

This show features the cream of the crop of mineral dealers as well as some of the finest fossils and rocks! From Collector’s Edge to Starborn Creations to some fabulous local folks like Artisan Jade and Pinnacle5 Minerals!
